The Backyard Beachfront Hotel, Jaco

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel, which is perfectly located right on the beach. The ambiance was amazing, and the view from the balcony was breathtaking. However, the service experience left something to be desired, especially during check-in. The room was spacious and comfortable, but I had some concerns about the responsiveness of the staff. Overall, it's a great place if you’re after a beachfront experience but be prepared for potential service hiccups.

I had a challenging experience during my stay. While the room was nice and comfortable, the check-in process was frustrating, with delays and unhelpful staff. The noise from the traffic and a clogged toilet added to the discomfort. On the bright side, the beds were cozy, and I appreciated the cleanliness. However, the cost did not reflect the service received.

The location was perfect for exploring Central Costa Rica, with Manuel Antonio and Monteverde not too far away. The staff was incredibly accommodating and went the extra mile to make our trip enjoyable. However, there were a few ants in the bathroom, and it could get a bit noisy on weekend nights.
